Pokémon Punch Art Card

 A lot of retired product here including paper and punches but I just love creating fun cards for kids parties with my punches. One of the reasons I rarely part with them. Xavier absolutely loves helping me create cards for his friends and today was an extra special effort - lots of Pokémon Balls!  Some of you may already be aware that I normally would be involved in the Paperific Craft Show at the showgrounds but due to COVID-19, this show did not happen this year. So... this weekend, I am getting together, well virtually anyway, with some of my stamping friends to put on a bit of an Online Expo for our customers. We were unable to gather or exhibit at our regular shows throughout this year, and really missed connecting with our customers, and having regular catchups with Expo goers.  There will be regular presentations throughout the weekend on the hour as well as little tips on the half hour to help you in your crafting, providing inspiration and creative ideas. World Cardmaking Day Weekend

Had an awesome afternoon on Sunday celebrating World Cardmaking Day. A group of us got together on Zoom and either completed the super cute Tag Buffet Project Kit from the Mini Catalogue or worked on some Christmas or Halloween projects. It was lots of fun and a great way to celebrate. I also made up some cards and tags I found on Pinterest using the stamp set that coordinates with the kit. There is soooooo much creative inspiration out there 😊

I found some awesome inspiration from Brenda Nelson for these cute cards incorporating the 'Tis the Season DSP and the Tag Buffet Stamp set that coordinates with the Project Kit.

And I loved these tags from Mikaela Titheridge so simply had to recreate them. I have used the Joy Bundle here also with the stamp set once again.

This really is an awesome kit that is so easy and quick to put together that would also make a lovely gift for someone special :) Happy Stamping!

September Stamp Club projects

  

Held my September Stamp Club on Sunday on Zoom once again. Here are the projects we did courtesy of our host Joy for selecting the products we used. 

We made a dove card using the Joy Dies and the Detailed Dove Dies. We then used those Joy Dies again but on a card made from the gorgeous Celebration Dies - love these frames they are so huge and so many layers! 

And lastly we did an interactive card using the Peaceful Nativity bundle. The additional sentiment on the front is from the Still Scenes Stamp Set.

Black & White all over!

 I've always been a huge fan of black & white, especially for weddings. Those of you who have followed me for some time may recall the collection I did way back in 2011 and this one also. Anyway, when I saw the gorgeous Halloween papers in the new mini catalogue (p.53) I just feel in love instantly with the beautiful floral prints. You may recall I shared during the week the projects we did last weekend in my team meeting as well as the swaps we all shared and I mentioned I did one of Chris Slogars Gift Card Holders. Well during that Zoom I taught them all how to easy they are to make and this was the one I made during the session plus I showed them some other really cute projects using the products. The cute treat box would make a great wedding favour and the dies in that set are perfect for it. So excited to have gorgeous black glimmer paper and it goes so well with the Silver Foil! Team Meet Projects and Swaps

Yesterday we held our team meeting via Zoom to launch the new Mini Catalogue which starts TOMORROW!!! Here are the projects we made. With help from my Stampin' Buddies Denise and Rachael, we prepped kits for over 18 of us and sent them off 'snail mail style' to arrive in time for yesterday so all they needed to do was stamp their sentiments and assemble and we were done.

The little favor box was made using the Little Treats Bundle (love this and stay tuned for more with this awesome set of dies) and the Flowers for Every Season DSP. The two cards were made from the Wonder of the Season Mega Suite which has two stamp set and die bundles, two DSP packs, a ribbon combo pack, wonderful red gems, a gorgeous set of memories and more cards plus these stunning foil accented cards and matching envelopes. This is the card I designed with the printed cards and envelopes, totally love these little baubles in case you didn't realise yet. The new red and green silver foil are perfect for these baubles too. The dies and sentiment are from the Cherish the Season Bundle.

Every time we have a team meet we encourage them to participate in a team swap and here are the swaps from some of our team members. It was such a fabulous and varied collection this time which was great to see. I made one of Chris Slogars cute gift card holders. (bottom left)

Even though COVID has severely impacted the way we get together it never stops our creative spirit and we thoroughly enjoy the time we get to craft together no matter how it is. It helps when Stampin' Up! produce such awesome products that make it effortless and thoroughly enjoyable. Let's face it when your stuck inside almost 24/7 plus homeschooling three kids like me, it's so good to be able to escape to my craft room when they go to bed and forget about all the sadness and anxiety outside. Wear your masks everyone and stay home and stay safe - we can do this!

Happy August 1st! Yes no big deal really but I'm super excited because this month the new Mini Catalogue starts and it goes live on Tuesday! I created a double bow for the largest bell using the Misty Moonlight ribbon and the Silver Metallic edge ribbon. The sentiment is from the Cherish the Season stamp set and the rhinestones are from the Holiday Rhinestones in the Annual Catalogue.
