Black & White all over!

 I've always been a huge fan of black & white, especially for weddings. Those of you who have followed me for some time may recall the collection I did way back in 2011 and this one also. Anyway, when I saw the gorgeous Halloween papers in the new mini catalogue (p.53) I just feel in love instantly with the beautiful floral prints. You may recall I shared during the week the projects we did last weekend in my team meeting as well as the swaps we all shared and I mentioned I did one of Chris Slogars Gift Card Holders. Well during that Zoom I taught them all how to easy they are to make and this was the one I made during the session plus I showed them some other really cute projects using the products. The cute treat box would make a great wedding favour and the dies in that set are perfect for it. So excited to have gorgeous black glimmer paper and it goes so well with the Silver Foil! More Wedding ideas....

You may remember the wedding collection I posted last month, well I have been putting together some other ideas using the same black and white theme.
I got the idea for this funky folded invite here. I have used the new wedding stamp set Marry Me and embossed it with black embossing powder. The scallop oval has been embossed with the vintage wallpaper folder with the Big Shot and then sprayed with vanilla shimmer smooch spritz. I have given her an engagement ring using a rhinestone and a little glitter on her veil edging and for her tiara. The flowers around the edge come from the set You are Loved and the inside invite uses the Love Blossoms wheel and the trim is using the dotted scallop ribbon border punch.
I also did an alternate cover for the pocket invite I posted last time. This one uses the textured Vanilla Cardstock with the belly band using the lace border punch, some black satin ribbon and an antique brad.

So what have I got for you today? It is a cute little wedding collection including an invitation, favour and place card. I got this cute idea from my friend Madeline Morcelo, she originally designed this as a gift card wallet (it was a project part of an Inkspirations4U Summer Edition) but I thought it would make an awesome wedding invitation. I have used the new You are Loved Stamp set and matching Love Blossoms wheel from the New Summer Mini Catalogue relelased TODAY. It is intended as a Valentine's set but I think it works really well for weddings too. I have also used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, the Neutrals DSP, Black Satin Ribbon and Scallop Oval punch. The favour was made using the Pillow Box Die. I cut it using cardstock vellum through my Big Shot. I then used the Parlor Prints Background stamp with VersaMark and embossed with black embossing powder. The hearts were hand cut on the belly band of the invite. I have used envelopes (cut off at approx. 5") to create the pockets and punched the half circle with the 1" circle punch. These hold the invite in the top and then the acceptance and registry info in the bottom two pockets. You could have as few or as many pockets as you need.Here is another collection using the same stamp set and wheel. This time I have created an invitation with a matching favour using the Fancy Favour Die and a place card (dont look too closely at my horrible handwriting) with a trim using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch. Wedding Card

I made this card for one of my colleagues at work as his daughter is getting married this weekend. Here's hoping the rain will clear up before then. I was inspired to make this card after seeing this one. I used one of my embossing folders and ran it through the Big Shot (a must have tool for crafters) for the background and white heart. I embossed the baroque motifs image but it's a little hard to tell. I have used some of the pearls from the pretties kit and a tiny little piece of black grosgrain ribbon for the tie. The sentiment is from the Together Forever stamp set (I used this set for my wedding too). Thanks for looking :)

Well I finally finished my Wedding Thank-you's (Thank GOD)! When I made all the invitations and place cards and orders of service etc.. i had my lovely bridesmaids and my mum help me out but this time I was on my own. It's taken me about 3 weekends here and there to get them done - BUT it's not entirely done, I still need to write on them, this is what I hate cos my writing is so feral I will ruin them now :) LOL! I don't think I will be using Berry Bliss DSP anytime soon.......soooo over it!!!

Wedding Stationery

Here is the stationery I created for the wedding including the order of service (top left) Guest Book (top right), menu card for tables (left), Invitation (right), cake boxes and placecards. Now all I have to do now is the thank you cards, I am so over close to cocoa!!!
