September Stamp Club projects

Held my September Stamp Club on Sunday on Zoom once again. Here are the projects we did courtesy of our host Joy for selecting the products we used.

We made a dove card using the Joy Dies and the Detailed Dove Dies. We then used those Joy Dies again but on a card made from the gorgeous Celebration Dies - love these frames they are so huge and so many layers!

And lastly we did an interactive card using the Peaceful Nativity bundle. The additional sentiment on the front is from the Still Scenes Stamp Set.

The other cards are just some samples I made to show some more ideas using the products

😊 thanks for visiting

Black & White all over!

I've always been a huge fan of black & white, especially for weddings. Those of you who have followed me for some time may recall the collection I did way back in 2011 and this one also. Anyway, when I saw the gorgeous Halloween papers in the new mini catalogue (p.53) I just feel in love instantly with the beautiful floral prints. You may recall I shared during the week the projects we did last weekend in my team meeting as well as the swaps we all shared and I mentioned I did one of Chris Slogars Gift Card Holders. Well during that Zoom I taught them all how to easy they are to make and this was the one I made during the session plus I showed them some other really cute projects using the products. The cute treat box would make a great wedding favour and the dies in that set are perfect for it. So excited to have gorgeous black glimmer paper and it goes so well with the Silver Foil! Don't forget the New Mini Catalogue is now live and you too can get yours hands on these amazing products. Message me today to place your order or go straight to my online store here.

Team Meet Projects and Swaps

Yesterday we held our team meeting via Zoom to launch the new Mini Catalogue which starts TOMORROW!!! Here are the projects we made. With help from my Stampin' Buddies Denise and Rachael, we prepped kits for over 18 of us and sent them off 'snail mail style' to arrive in time for yesterday so all they needed to do was stamp their sentiments and assemble and we were done.

The little favor box was made using the Little Treats Bundle (love this and stay tuned for more with this awesome set of dies) and the Flowers for Every Season DSP. The two cards were made from the Wonder of the Season Mega Suite which has two stamp set and die bundles, two DSP packs, a ribbon combo pack, wonderful red gems, a gorgeous set of memories and more cards plus these stunning foil accented cards and matching envelopes. This is the card I designed with the printed cards and envelopes, totally love these little baubles in case you didn't realise yet. The new red and green silver foil are perfect for these baubles too. The dies and sentiment are from the Cherish the Season Bundle.

Have a few more projects using these baubles so stay tuned in the coming days for more inspiration.
Every time we have a team meet we encourage them to participate in a team swap and here are the swaps from some of our team members. It was such a fabulous and varied collection this time which was great to see. I made one of Chris Slogars cute gift card holders. (bottom left)

Even though COVID has severely impacted the way we get together it never stops our creative spirit and we thoroughly enjoy the time we get to craft together no matter how it is. It helps when Stampin' Up! produce such awesome products that make it effortless and thoroughly enjoyable. Let's face it when your stuck inside almost 24/7 plus homeschooling three kids like me, it's so good to be able to escape to my craft room when they go to bed and forget about all the sadness and anxiety outside. Wear your masks everyone and stay home and stay safe - we can do this!

Mini Catalogue is coming! Only 3 more sleeps!

Happy August 1st! Yes no big deal really but I'm super excited because this month the new Mini Catalogue starts and it goes live on Tuesday! Yes a whole month earlier than normal - YAY! that's more time for holiday crafting projects and with more time stuck inside there's no excuse to play play play. I am super lucky to have some of the products early and have been playing. One of the bundles on top of my list was the Cherish the Season Bundle - these bells are divine! So easy to make gorgeous projects. Here is a non-traditional card size but it fits perfectly in a DL envelope. I have used one of the new In Colors Misty Moonlight on the card as well as the Snowflake Splendor DSP is the background. The bells have been cut with the silver foil and I used the Misty Moonlight/Silver Bakers Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

I created a double bow for the largest bell using the Misty Moonlight ribbon and the Silver Metallic edge ribbon. The sentiment is from the Cherish the Season stamp set and the rhinestones are from the Holiday Rhinestones in the Annual Catalogue.
I have made lots more projects with these cute little bells, stay tuned for more in the coming days. Don't forget there is still a couple of days before Bonus Days ends. Just submit an order of $90 or more before shipping and you will get a $9 voucher emailed to you to use from August 4th throughout the month of August. There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can earn and you can redeem them all at once on your next order. Email me today for further info or check out my online store below and order today. Stamp Club Projects for February

It was our first stamp club for the year and what fun we had! As a request from our host for the day Steph, we played with the pigment sprinkles but also some of the cute products in the new Mini Catalogue. If you are familiar with the 'Brusho' we had last catalogue, these are similar but the best thing is that they come in colours coordinating with our colours. The pack consists of 6 colours (Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody & Melon Mambo) for $40. They are easily overlooked in the catalogue on p.179 down the bottom. The jars they come in also have a great safety cap and precut holes, although you may want to consider covering up 1-2 of the three holes to control flow even more. It was a bit messy but the results are so worth it. We experimented with different papers and colours as well as different techniques using the sprinkles.

First we embossed the breathtaking bouquet stamp with white embossing powder on to watercolour paper. We then used four of the six colours to fill in the flower. We then spritzed the card with water and watched the magic happen! We then let it dry, it's best to let it dry completely overnight but you can hurry along the process with your heat gun if you can't wait.

One of the things I love about this product is the different results every time. It really is magical. We just finished it off with some ribbon and rhinestones from the Peacock Suite, the colours were perfect. Inspiration for this card was found here.

We then made the bee card but this time we used shimmery white cardstock. This is great for using with the pigment sprinkles and the water as it doesn't get absorbed quite as quick as the watercolour paper and tends to sit on the surface more which gives you a bit more time to control the colour flow as it dries. Inspiration for this card was found here.
There are lots of videos on YouTube using the pigment sprinkles, so get yourself some and have a play! Oh and maybe some gloves too LOL :)

Here are some more we made using watercolour paper again but this time creating a silhouette effect with the Sweet Silhouette dies. Sooooooo effective don't you think!

We also made a super fun project using the bench fold technique and the gorgeous Best dressed suite from the Mini Catalogue. This was a project that one of my team members taught us all at our recent team meeting last month. This card was a huge hit with everyone. If you would like to recreate this cute card that folds flat into a DL envelope to send, click here. Even though it is in German, you can still get the idea.

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my blog. Back soon with more inspirational projects.
Happy Stamping!
