Faux Shaving Cream Technique

Gees I must be in a faux mood today LOL!!! I tried colouring the grosgrain ribbon edge too, not sure if there is too much pink on this - hang on what am i saying................there can never be too much PINK!

Faux Metal Technique

I was feeling really creative today so thought I would try something new. I have been wanting to try this technique for ages and never got around to it. After a few trials and many errors (cracked a few) I finally came up with this one, still not 100% happy with it, not too sure on the colours either but hey I tried it! Will have to give this another go soon. Perhaps I will try a different stamp, maybe a Christmas one and maybe in gold next time.

Gift for WCMD attendees

These are the cute little post it gifts I made for my attendees on Sunday, I hope they like them :)

World Card Making Day

These are the projects we are making on Sunday for World Card Making Day (we're not making cards, just to be different). They include a mini take out box, a pouch, a cake box, a bow and a gift card holder made from an enevelope. Now let's see if we can all (10 of us) get them done in the space of 3 hours.........

Wedding Stationery

Here is the stationery I created for the wedding including the order of service (top left) Guest Book (top right), menu card for tables (left), Invitation (right), cake boxes and placecards. Now all I have to do now is the thank you cards, I am so over close to cocoa!!!

Wedding of the Year (well that's what our guests said anyway)

The Day was simply perfect! The weather was approximately 28 degrees, little wind, plenty of sunshine and NO rain. After a morning walk on the beach the girls and I spent most of the morning getting 'pretty' (make-up by Alanna and hair by Kristy) having a laugh and nibbling on some yummy food, then the photographer (Ray Alley, champion whale and wedding photograher) arrived and we took some great shots around the resort. Then off in the cars (white Jaguars courtesy of Blake's Wedding Cars) to the Lighthouse for the ceremony conducted by Helen Scott (Nelson Bay's Best Wedding celebrant). The service was beautiful with some special readings and a string quartet performed (Intermezzo) while the registry was signed. Afterwards some more photos with family and then the bridal party took off for more pics in some beautiful locations including Barry Park, Fingal Beach and Pearson Park for a glorious sunset. After all the that it was back to the resort (Shoal Bay Resort) for the celebration and great food at Catch Restaurant. The band (Accoostic Moose) played great music, there were memorable speeches, magnificent food, lots of dancing and we all enjoyed some yummy cake (Jay from Imagine Cakes did an amazing job). But sadly after the garter and bouquet were thrown we had to say goodbye and bring the magical day to an end. An awesome time was had by all and we will never forget it. Thanks to everyone to contributed to such a special day, my husband (there i said it) Greg and I are very appreciative of efforts made my all who helped out. Special thanks go to our wedding coordinator at the resort Emma Brown for her great job and 'nothing too much trouble' response to all my requests. Enjoy the photos!!!
