First we embossed the breathtaking bouquet stamp with white embossing powder on to watercolour paper. We then used four of the six colours to fill in the flower. We then spritzed the card with water and watched the magic happen! We then let it dry, it's best to let it dry completely overnight but you can hurry along the process with your heat gun if you can't wait.
One of the things I love about this product is the different results every time. It really is magical. We just finished it off with some ribbon and rhinestones from the Peacock Suite, the colours were perfect. Inspiration for this card was found here.
We then made the bee card but this time we used shimmery white cardstock. This is great for using with the pigment sprinkles and the water as it doesn't get absorbed quite as quick as the watercolour paper and tends to sit on the surface more which gives you a bit more time to control the colour flow as it dries. Inspiration for this card was found here.
There are lots of videos on YouTube using the pigment sprinkles, so get yourself some and have a play! Oh and maybe some gloves too LOL :)
Here are some more we made using watercolour paper again but this time creating a silhouette effect with the Sweet Silhouette dies. Sooooooo effective don't you think!
We also made a super fun project using the bench fold technique and the gorgeous Best dressed suite from the Mini Catalogue. This was a project that one of my team members taught us all at our recent team meeting last month. This card was a huge hit with everyone. If you would like to recreate this cute card that folds flat into a DL envelope to send, click here. Even though it is in German, you can still get the idea.
Thanks for stopping by today to check out my blog. Back soon with more inspirational projects.
Happy Stamping!
