The baby couldn't wait....

So much for the baby shower - we had little Cody arrive this morning, so I am an auntie once again. He is the cutest little baby, 3 weeks early and LOTS of hair LOL. Here is a pic with Shane and Nicole, proud parents for the first time and one with me a Greg. Looks like we will have a 'post' baby shower :) At least we can have a BLUE theme now we know.

Baby Shower Games

Some of the games we are playing tomorrow are 'Guess the number of Jelly Babies in the Jar' and 'Guess the Baby Food' LOL. We are also playing games such as unscramble the baby words, guess the nursery rhyme, guess the mother-to-be's waist measurement, clothes pegs (too long to explain), Baby Bingo, 'Baby' songs, Baby Alphabet, Baby Pictionary, and others.... what an afternoon of fun it will be. Can't wait til it's my turn....

Final preparations for the baby shower tomorrow....

Somehow amoungst all the time prepping swaps for convention next weekend, I have managed to get a few things done for the baby shower tomorrow. I cant wait to see Nicole and see how BIG she has got. Here are the party prizes for all the fun games we will play. These are the sour cream containers from Splitcoaststampers. You can find instructions to make these here. Will post some more pics soon.

My BFF

I cant take credit for this work. My best friend Jacq stamps with me often and creates the cutest projects but the problem is she always takes them with her and I always forget to photograph them. THIS time I remembered. While I have been madly working on my swaps for convention (boring) she was busy christening all my new stamps :) I love the one in the middle the most. Thanks for looking.

Tangerine Tango

Here is another project using some of the new products. This card is made using the eyelet border punch and the Level 2 Hostess Set Echoes of Kindness. I had to force myself to make a project with the new Tangerine Tango - sorry just not my colour but I think it came up ok with the Baja Breeze and Whisper White. I will persist and see what else I can come up with using this colour.....

The new Satin Kiwi Kiss ribbon just finishes it off with some new DSP too......oh and I can't forget the new Curly Label Punch and one of the new Level 1 Hostess sets Best Yet :) If you havent got your hands on a new catalogue yet, you can call me TODAY for you own copy for hours of reading and heaps of awesome ideas.

Build-a-Brad

Been wanting to try this build-a-brad since I got them but havent really been inspired. Not sure that this did it justice but it's a start. This card is made using the new Hostess Set Organic Grace and some of the new In Colours. Build-a-brad is dead easy to use. You simply stamp whatever it is you want on the brad, then grab your 1/2" circle punch and punch it out. Glue dot that to your brad pin and then stick your acrylic bubble adhesive over the top - and HEY PRESTO! Build-a-brad is a new item available in the new catalogue for $18.95 in either pewter or antique brass. There are endless possibilities with this awesome new product.

On a wing....

Have been playing with my new stamps (mmmmmmm new rubber, gotta love it) These are made with the new Good Friend stamp set. I have to say this one is really starting to grow on me now, and I am loving the new In Colours and new DSP's. You must all be wondering HEY what's going on? 3 posts in one night???? Yes I am on hols for the next two weeks so expect to see more....

Cupcakes galore

Another take on those crazy cupcakes and my glitter. I love the Window Dressing Hostess stamp set too. Will find lots of uses for this one I think......

I used the chunky glitter on the cupcakes and my new crimper for the awning even though it may be hard to tell from the photo, it sits out off the page giving it a real awning look.

Baby Shower Invites all done...

Well, finally got all the baby shower invites done and am pretty glad they're finished, kinda over onesie's for a while though. They were pretty easy to make just time consuming. I got 3 out of a 12 x 12 DSP sheet, then just used the 1 1/4" circle punch and scallop circle punch for the sleaves etc.. and some eyelets for the base.....and gotta have ribbon.......... so put a little taffeta bow under the collar.
