Mini Catalogue Launch Gifts

I made my attendees a little gift holder for the ribbon samples I am giving them on Sunday at my New Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue Launch. Another nifty way to use the Big Shot (you really cannot live without this) using the Movers and Shapers Bigz XL Die, the Pefect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and the Top Note Bigz Die. Colours used include the new Melon Mambo with some Bashful Blue topped off with some new Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. The attendees will make one of my little Bird Punch Pillow Boxes and a card using the new Soft Suede and the Autumn Days Stamp set using the new clear mounts. I hope they enjoy these projects and have lots of fun playing games and winning prizes.

Birdy Sneak Peek...

Here is another project showcasing the fabulous new products in the upcoming Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue. This Two Step Bird punch is just soooooo cute and I think Rich Razzleberry is definitely my new favourite colour. I have used lots of new little goodies here. I started with the Pillow Box Bigz Die cut from some Rich Razzleberry and cut some Orchid Opulence Cardstock. I then punched a scallop square from some Old Olive Cardstock and adhered it to the corner. I then grabbed my cute birdy and punched him twice using the Cottage Wall DSP for the branch, him and his wings. I have adhered all this using dimensionals. Then I tied some new Rich Razzleberry Polka-dot Ribbon around the pillow box and tied the punched jewelery tag after I stamped the sentiment from new set Tiny Tags. Gotta luv it hey. You could fit several little easter eggs inside this cute little box. This is one of the projects we will be making on Sunday at my New Mini Catalogue Launch this Sunday. If you haven't registered yet then you better get in quick as there are only a couple of places left. Drop me an email at felic77@hotmail.com or call me on 0414 400 841 to secure your spot :) It will be a great day of fun, cool prizes, giveaways and yummy afternoon tea.

One BIG bunny!!!!

This is the first project I have made from the latest UStamp which started this week. It's not too late to get on board either, just click here to join. There have already been some amazing projects and this one I just couldnt resist and had to give it a go straight away. The very talented Kirsty Brown created this cute BIG bunny and soooooo easy to make. It is designed to hold a standard 100g Cadbury Bunny. When I first saw these I thought 'kewl I can make them for my tutor group' but after making one, the thought of making another 12 before I leave for work in the morning as well as sleeping, breakfast, shower etc..... not likely!!! But I would have loved to all the same if I were Superwoman :)

I will definitely make some more of these, maybe some different coloured ones, stay tuned, Easter is still 10 days away right? Yeah I have time..... school breaks up this Friday - YAY! I will be going creative CRAZY hehehehe. Mind you my 'To do' list is quietly getting out of control.....

Grab this bunny before he hops away....

How cute are these little bunnies! I made these for my Yr 12 Class for Easter. They are filled with chocolate eggs for the Easter break as this week is the last week of term. I hope they like them. I am trying to bribe them to complete their holiday homework, do you think it will be effective? I have actually used some retired Designer Series Paper that I STILL had left over from my wedding..... pretty much all gone now except one pattern. I have used the new Fancy Favor XL Bigz Die and my Big Shot to make these cute little treat boxes. I have used a little flower from the Trio Flower Punch for his collar. The gorgeous little Chocolate Bunny is in the current mini catalogue but not for much longer. If you want to get your hands on him you only have 1 MORE WEEK! He is a rare little stamp as you can buy him on his own and not in a set! Only $13.95. If you order before the end of the month I will throw in some real chocolate :) Dont forget I am holding my Mini Catalogue Launch this Sunday where you can see all the new goodies in the new mini and make some fun little projects. For more information and to receive a flyer please email me at felic77@hotmail.com or call me on 0414 400 841. Get in quick as there are only a couple of places left.

The hunt continues......

This time I have made a smaller basket with the scallop envelope die. You can never have too many Easter Baskets I say.... I have used the final of the three new In Colours that I wanted to reveal, Rich Razzleberry (you can see the other colours on earlier projects here with Melon Mambo and here with Soft Suede) and some of the gorgeous new coordinating DSP called Cottage Wall. This is similar to one put together like the larger one I made earlier here except this one only uses four envelopes. I have put a dimensional under each of the flaps to hold them down a little. How cute is the bunny tissue paper I found. Now just to fill it up with eggs. My husband keeps eating all the ones I buy so have to hide them I think......then he can have a real Easter Hunt hehehehe :)

More sneak peeks....

Here is a card I made using the new colour Soft Suede, how gorgeous is it! I have also used some of the new Autumn Traditions DSP and the new Autumn Days stamp set. This was my first time playing with the new clear mount stamps - they are so amazing. I have to say at first I was very scared of using something new and I really do love my wood blocks but this system is soooooooo much better for storage as the new clear mount stamps come in handy DVD sized cases which means I can store so much more in my shelves :) The clear blocks are so wonderful to use with easy grips on all four sides. If you are like me and still love your wood blocks thats ok too cos you can buy the stamp sets in either option - kewl hey and the quality is just as good!

The ribbon is also new to match the Soft Suede. I have wrapped the brad around the ribbon before putting it through the hole, nifty huh. If you wanna see more, make sure you get along to my Mini Catalogue Launch next weekend. Email me for more details including the flyer. felic77@hotmail.com or call me on 0414 400 841 to secure your place, there are only a few places left. Love this new autumn colour....... Only 11 days to go and you can get your order in for all the new goodies in the NEW MINI CATALOGUE!

Big Shot Easter gift

Here are some more projects using the New Big Shot from the upcoming New Mini Catalogue. For the card I have used the new Movers and Shapers Bigz XL Die, the new Manhattan Flower Embossing folder and one of the gorgeous new In Colours, Melon Mambo. I have combined this beautiful new colour with Gable Green and I think they make a great combinaton for Easter dont you think? Gable Green is not a colour I tend to use often and I have found a whole new appreciation for it since making this project, it's a very 'fresh' bright colour. Inside the curly label window are some eggs punched using the oval punch from an image from another new set called Pendant Park. I have finished it off with some of the new Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in the Melon Mambo - love this new colour!!! There are two more new colours I am yet to reveal so stay tuned...

For the easter egg basket I have used the new Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die and also used the die to cut a stip for the trim (this is easy just place your strip approx 1-2" wide along the fancy edge of the die, our A4 cardstock is just long enough to do this). Once again I have used some of the Melon Mambo Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon round the middle and for the bag of easter eggs inside. The tag is from another new set Cottage Garden, which has beautiful matching DSP. Now I bet you are all so anxious and excited to see what else is in the New Mini Catalogue due to be released just before Easter and want to see more.......well the best thing to do is to register for my Mini Catalogue Launch in two weeks. There will be games & prizes, giveaways including some of this beautiful ribbon, a chance to play with the new products and create some gorgeous projects and dont forget yummy afternoon tea too!!! I will continue to post on here some teasers over the next couple of weeks if you still need some more convincing about how truly awesome these catalogue really is. Please email me TODAY if you are interested in registering for my Mini Catalogue Launch and I will email you a flyer but get in quick as places are already starting to fill up. How cute is this!!!!

One of my lovely customers (thank you so much Donna) gave me an absolutely gorgeous card yesterday after she found out I recently had surgery. She included a little clipping of what inspired her but most of all the Kaleidoscope DSP gave her this great idea. How clever is she. It was just what I needed after such a crazy week all with Parent/Teacher Interviews just to top it off! Time is running out to get your hands on this cute paper as it is only available in our current Mini Catalogue which ends on the 31st March. Dont forget that the fabulous SAB promotion also ends on the 31st March so only a couple of weeks to score yourself some of our gorgeous limited edition stamp sets. Click on the links to see all the beautiful stamp sets and accessories available only until the end of the month. Here is a link to a post from a couple of months ago where I used the same paper for a project. They are really pretty colours and work great for party invitations or bright scrapbook pages. Thanks again Donna for putting such a big smile on my face :)

The hunt is on..... (for chocolate of course)

I just love Easter time, maybe its the chocolate, yes it's definitely the chocolate... Well as promised here is the first of many sneak peaks at some projects with the new and awesome BIG SHOT! This cute little basket uses the new Scallop Envelope Die for the BIG SHOT cut out 6 times with one of the flaps removed on each envelope and adhered all together then simply a base and inside traced for support. I found the idea for this cute little basket here and it's got all the directions to put it together there also, super easy too. I have used some of the Raspberry Tart DSP around the sides and some Pink Taffeta Ribbon on the handle. I have punched the handle with the Eyelet border punch and filled it with the all important EASTER EGGS!!!! I hope you like this little project, the first of many awesome ideas to come over the next few weeks as we count down to the release of the NEW MINI CATALOGUE!!!!

A lovely surprise...

To aid in my recovery this week, my BFF visited me today with the best present ever and put the biggest smile on my face!!! She made me (yes Jacq really did make this with her own two hands) an awesome punch storage for my craft room door. I soooo love it - it is simply fabulous and it totally goes with my 'PINK' room. Jacq said the hardest part was cutting out the letters and I said to her well now we have the 'BIG SHOT' which cuts out letters from all sorts of materials not just paper and card!!! What's the BIG SHOT I hear you ask??? Well, you will just have to sit tight and stalk my blog for the next few weeks while I post you teasers (starting tomorrow) about all the awesome things you can create with it. Come April 1st, you too will be able to begin a whole new crafting journey with the best tool ever invented! Thanks so much Jacq, I just luurrrve my new punch storage:)

Melbourne's weather a downer.....

Little Miss Piggy

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, I have been really busy at work and just life in general. I have been recovering from a surgery and I have loved being at home resting and getting creative again.

Ok well my New Year's Resolution to not use PINK has not lasted long but realistically I couldn't have a pig any other colour right? I saw this cute idea (sorry I cant remember who) on the the Late Night Stampers Group (I have been honoured on a few occasions to have my work noted on this group) a while ago and have tracked down some musk lollies to help this come together. I am doing these as one of my FREE Make & Take projects at the Paperific Show on the weekend on Sunday so come along and you can make one too. Hope to see you at the Melbourne Showgrounds. I will post my other project later...

To make one of these all you need are punches (Full Heart, Heart to Heart, 1-3/8" Circle, 1" Circle, 1/2" Circle, 1-3/4" Circle) and I have cut a 5" circle using my Circle Scissor Plus (love this tool) and used one of the Sweet Treat Cups from the Mini Catalogue. I used a white gel pen for the eyes and cheeks and put a bow using some of the Rose Red Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
