Two more sleeps...

There are only two more sleeps until the SAB Blog Hop Starts. Dont forget to check back here on Monday morning bright and early to join the fun and see all the awesome creations we have waiting for you. But here is a little teaser until then. This card uses one of the frames and a sentiment from the Vintage Labels Set (the set which I will be showcasing on Monday). I have framed it with a piece of silver hodge podge (tomorrow is your last chance of the Stampin' Up! sale to get the Silver Hodge Podge at a discounted price of $43.46, normally $57.95) and I have used the Butterfly Prints from the New Mini with the matching punch stamped on vellum. In the background I have stamped with Versamark the beautiful flower from the Razzle Dazzle set which is also in the Mini Catalogue.
Cardstock - Kraft, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip DSP
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Versamark
Accessories - Silver Hodge Podge Hardware, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Scallop Edge Punch

Gifts for work colleagues

Here are some more candles this time using the Always set. I am so glad they released this in the full catalogue this year, it was my favourite set in the mini last year. I have used some of the Urban Garden papers and some Silver Hodge Podge (these are easy to bend around the candles).

Christmas is coming....

It's time to get organised with all those cards and gifts. Not only can you make your cards, you can make your gifts as well - how impressed will your friends be!!! These are SUPER EASY. All you need is some candles, some tissue paper, some baking paper, your favourites stamp sets and inks and your embossing tool. I am going to make some more of these over the coming days so stay tuned for more samples. I have to thank the wonderfully creative Simone for demonstrating this fabulous idea at Regionals a few weeks ago. I made candles like this many many years ago before I discovered Stampin' Up! but now I have sooooooooo many more options...... Thanks Simone for reminding me about this technique. Thanks for looking.

Urban Pocket Silhouettes

The Pocket Silhouettes and Urban Garden DSP work so well together. I totally CASED this card from SCS but had to add my favourite card stock at the moment - 'Kraft'. Besides I dont have the Basic Gray taffeta ribbon anyway so had to improvise :) It was a good opportunity for me to use some Styled Silver Hodge Podge too. I really should be prepping for my next workshop but am too busy creating tonight..... oh and doing my huge pile of marking for school as well. As if I would spend a Saturday night doing any of that!!!!!!!
