Stamp Club Projects for February

It was our first stamp club for the year and what fun we had! As a request from our host for the day Steph, we played with the pigment sprinkles but also some of the cute products in the new Mini Catalogue. If you are familiar with the 'Brusho' we had last catalogue, these are similar but the best thing is that they come in colours coordinating with our colours. The pack consists of 6 colours (Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody & Melon Mambo) for $40. They are easily overlooked in the catalogue on p.179 down the bottom. The jars they come in also have a great safety cap and precut holes, although you may want to consider covering up 1-2 of the three holes to control flow even more. It was a bit messy but the results are so worth it. We experimented with different papers and colours as well as different techniques using the sprinkles.

First we embossed the breathtaking bouquet stamp with white embossing powder on to watercolour paper. We then used four of the six colours to fill in the flower. We then spritzed the card with water and watched the magic happen! We then let it dry, it's best to let it dry completely overnight but you can hurry along the process with your heat gun if you can't wait.

One of the things I love about this product is the different results every time. It really is magical. We just finished it off with some ribbon and rhinestones from the Peacock Suite, the colours were perfect. Inspiration for this card was found here.

We then made the bee card but this time we used shimmery white cardstock. This is great for using with the pigment sprinkles and the water as it doesn't get absorbed quite as quick as the watercolour paper and tends to sit on the surface more which gives you a bit more time to control the colour flow as it dries. Inspiration for this card was found here.
There are lots of videos on YouTube using the pigment sprinkles, so get yourself some and have a play! Oh and maybe some gloves too LOL :)

Here are some more we made using watercolour paper again but this time creating a silhouette effect with the Sweet Silhouette dies. Sooooooo effective don't you think!

We also made a super fun project using the bench fold technique and the gorgeous Best dressed suite from the Mini Catalogue. This was a project that one of my team members taught us all at our recent team meeting last month. This card was a huge hit with everyone. If you would like to recreate this cute card that folds flat into a DL envelope to send, click here. Even though it is in German, you can still get the idea.

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my blog. Back soon with more inspirational projects.
Happy Stamping!

Stamp Club projects

This month in Stamp Club we had some fun with the Dino Bundle (this is on special today only as part of the Online Extravaganza Sale). I was inspired by Pootles for these cards we made.

Here is the collection from all the girls, I love how they are all a little different.
The Designer Series Paper in this Suite is awesome and the best part is the dies that match the stamp set also cut out some of the images in the papers! Too Easy! Some also included some Gold Glitter enamel dots (part of the Christmastime is Here Suite) on their dinos. How cute!
We also made a deer card using Dashing Deer.

I was inspired by this card and changed it up a little to incorporate this years products including the Delicata Ink pad in Gold from the Holiday Catalogue as well as the new Gold Shimmer Ribbon available as part of the Christmastime is Here Suite of products. Check them out here.

We carried on playing with this suite and my stamp club girls love to colour so we did a card with the large rose and they all chose to colour differently.

Here is the collection of all their creations.

Once again I love how they are all so different.
We finished off the day with some tags also using this suite. Some also chose to do a tag with the Feels Like Frost Suite. It really is simply stunning and so versatile. Here are all the projects we made on the day.

One of my lovely customers purchased several of the advent kits to make and give as gifts for her colleagues (lucky girls!) and she kindly brought in one of her creations to share with us. How fabulous is this! The little boxes are quite roomy giving you the opportunity to fit quite a bit in them.

Here is the display table with many samples from the Holiday Catalogue as well as the Christmastime is Here Suite.

Don't miss out on this fabulous suite of products, only available while stocks last.
We have one more stamp club for the year coming up on December 1 where we will be making Masculine themed cards, stay tuned....
Happy Stamping!

Santa's Sleigh Pop-up panel card

Looooooong time no blog I know. Well now I have three kids and time is very precious these days but will try to blog as much as I can.
Here is my version of a pop up panel card. Ever since I saw this idea I have been hanging to use the Santa's sleigh set to create this card. Thank you to Collette for her fabulous tutorial. My stamp club ladies made this on the weekend and although at first glance they freaked out a little and thought how on earth they would make it, they were very proud of themselves when they finished it. I hope they create more now they know how.

Stamp Club April

Long time no blogging I know I know but I hope to rectify this over the coming weeks. I have lots to catch you up on and heaps of stuff to post so will work through it all as quickly as I can. My stamp club have been really busy over the past 12 months. This is actually a technique I taught them a while back but they loved it. My oldest is now in Kinder and my youngest is now 12 months so I hope to have a little more time to blog and share.
I really loved teaching the technique, maybe its the teacher in me or maybe it was the technique itself LOL. We learnt the fabulous chalkboard technique.
We used the gorgeous Swallowtail stamp for our sample.  I found some really cute ideas from Becky Roberts and Sandi MacIver for the cards we made. Plus Sandi has a great tutorial for this technique here.

Happy 'belated' Valentine's Day

I made these a while back for a customer order, she saw this card and wanted me to make a few for Valentine's Day. She loved them and so did her recipients I believe :)

I have used some of the gorgeous More Amore Specialty DSP plus the coordinating Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching dies. It may be hard to see but I used some of the new Two-tone ribbon in the Pink Pirouette/Rose Red and also some Primrose Petals Spotted Ribbon. Finally the sentiment is from Petite Pairs and finnished off with a faceted button and twine.

Petite Purse Magnetic Advent calendar

As you may know already, Paperific was on the weekend at the showgrounds and here is the project I designed for our Stampin' Up! stand at the show. It was really hard to photograph but I gave it my best shot. You may remember my post on the petite purse die that I did as a product showcase for the recent Heartfelt Stampin' Up! Event. Well I took that die one step further and created this Magnetic Advent Calendar. It took ages but I am happy with how it turned out. I have used lots of new things on this project, many from the new Holiday Catalogue. Besides the Petite Purse Die, I have used the new Peekaboo Frames Die, the Snow Festival DSP, the Snow Flurry Die, Silver Glimmer Paper and heaps of punches. What worked perfectly for this was the 25 & Counting Stamp set, I just love that set so much. I had to hunt down an extra large baking tray to fit them all on :) They have a little magnet on the back to hold them on plus it makes it easy to remove them to fill them with yummy treats. I am considering running this as a class or putting together a kit so if you are interested please let me know so I can decide if its something people want.

I used my crop-a-dile to punch two holes in the tray and tied some of the new Natural Cotton Ribbon through them so you can hang it up.

Thanks for visitng today :)

Team training night

I recently had another team training night and after many requests we focused on the brayer. We were all very inspired by Kerry Bunting's beautiful cards at Regionals. I taught them 3 different techniques using the brayer, first one was emboss resist (that's the baby card) then we did brayered sky (sunset card) and finally brayered embossing. They all loved it and couldnt wait to get home and try out what they learned. There are a few sneak peeks here you may notics. The baby card uses a new stamp set and matching wheel called Baby Boutique. And the card in the front uses a new embossing folder called Lacy Brocade from the new Holiday Catalogue. I have also used some of the new In Colors, more about them in a minute....

We always do swaps at my training nights and here are some of the girls swaps. The first two are from Jacki.

The sail boat card comes from Jeniece and the bird from Judy.
These two cute Christmas cards come from Jenny and Liz.

Here is is my swap. Another sneak peek too. I have used all the new In Colors here and they are just beautiful together I think. Plus I have used a new set called Papaya Collage which is just gorgeous. I have finished it off with some new stitched ribbon and the sentiment comes from Tiny Tags.
I am working on a special project at the moment for the upcoming Paperific Expo this weekend, stay tuned for pics soon.

Melbourne Regional Event

On Saturday I was thrilled to be asked to demonstrate some new products for the Stampin' Up! Melbourne Heartfelt Event. I jumped at the opportunity to showcase the gorgeous new Petite Purse Die. I designed a couple of these myself but found lots of inspiration online as I only had a week to get my display collection done.

The first pic I call my 'designer collection' LOL. When I saw the new Holiday Catalogue and the cute Halloween Designer Series Paper called Howlstooth & Scaringbone I instantly saw a Burberry inspired handbag in my mind, I ended up creating two different styles using the new Designer Ribbon Slides. The two black ones were inspired by some I found online. The top left one comes from the very talented Patty Bennett and she has a great tutorial for that one. I found the Chanel one here. For mine I used the Houndstooth embossing folder and the Silver Glimmer Paper. I used the 1/2" Circle and 3/4" Circle punches to create the logo.
This collection features the new Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series paper plus a purse done with fabric. I have used a new Naturals Designer button on the left one and an Antique Brad for the one on the right. The fabric used is the Spice Cake range. The one at the back was inspired by this one and the one on the right came from talented Frenchie, she also has a tutorial here.

These two come from Frenchie again. She does great tutorials. You can check them out here.

I love this group. The one on the left features the new Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is the 'special' sheet inside it. It's probably a little hard to see in the pic but it's a window sheet with red flcoking - just GORJUS!!! The one at the back was inspired by talented LeeAnn Greff and she also has a great tutorial for this one here. I have used a different sheet from the same DSP pack for this one with some Real Red Carstock and embossed it with the new Lacy Brocade Embossing folder. I finished it off with some Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon and a new Vintage Faceted Button. The wagon on the right was inspired by this one.

Here are some cards using the die, see how versatile this die really is! The card on the left was inspired by this one. I have used the new Summer Smooches DSP and the new Large Scallop Edgelit. The one on the right was inspired by this one here. I have used the new Elegant Butterfly Punch with the framelits using the new Festive Piercing Pack. The sentiments on both are from the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set, it has coordinating framelits to make cutting these out super easy!.The purse in the front uses the new Delicate Designs Embossing folder.

Finally here are my fun ones. The backpack on the left was inspired by talented Mary Fish's backpack. The one in the middle features the new Comfort Cafe DSP and cute new In Color Dahlias as well as the new Fancy Fan Embossing folder. The watering can was inspired from this one where there is also a great tutorial.
See now I know you just have to have this cute die becasue there is just soooooo much you can do with it right! Well from September 1st you can order it and get creative as well with its possibilities. Call me on 0414400841 or email me at felic77@hotmail.com to place your order.
